Introductory Webinar

Description: The Introductory Webinar outlines the eight elements required of mandatory compliance programs, identifies who is required to have a compliance program, and identifies what areas of a Medicaid provider's operations compliance programs must apply.

Compliance Elements 1 through 8

Description: These webinars identify a specific compliance element's statutory and regulatory requirements, outline what OMIG's Bureau of Compliance looks for when it assesses a Medicaid provider's compliance program for those Elements, and detail compliance related tools and resources on OMIG's website to assist providers in meeting the mandatory compliance obligations.

Compliance Element 1 and 2 

Description: These two webinars identify the statutory and regulatory requirements pertaining to, respectively, Element 1 (written policies and procedures that describe compliance expectations as embodied in a code of conduct or code of ethics …), and Element 2 (designation of compliance officer - an employee vested with responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the compliance program …).

Compliance Elements 3 and 4

Description: These two webinars identify the statutory and regulatory requirements pertaining to, respectively, Element 3 (training and education of all affected individuals on compliance issues, expectations and the compliance program …), and Element 4 (communication lines to the compliance officer that are accessible to all affected individuals to allow compliance issues to be reported …).
