Through the Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Payment program, hospitals and eligible providers in New York State who adopt, implement, or upgrade certified EHR technology, and subsequently become meaningful users of the EHR technology, can qualify for financial incentives. OMIG provides oversight and conducts reviews to ensure that the CMS eligibility requirements of the Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Payment program are met.
